Revisiting the Wetland

A couple of weeks ago, I made a trip to the wetland area near where I live. It is a very small marsh, fed by local streams and ground water. I have been there several times since we moved here and found it full of waterfowl, beavers and muskrats and song birds. I highlighted one of my finds in a previous post – a yellow warbler.

That first visit also gave me peeks at a hooded merganser family, something I haven’t seen in the past. So I wanted to share these shots with you…
